I’ve met Joe and Caroline at a wedding fayre in Nottingham. When they got in touch to talk about their Blackbrook House Wedding photography, I instantly knew it will be an awesome day. Joe and Caroline liked my documentary approach and unobtrusive way of capturing memories. From the moment I took the first few photos at their wedding, I knew it was going to be a relaxed and super fun day. Exactly how I love it! It was my first time shooting at this venue and guess what? Love from first sight. Blackbrook House is the type of wedding venue you just have to adore. Set on a wooded hill, surrounded by the greenery and with all the ivy climbing the buildings’ exterior, it’s so beautiful. When I drove up the woodland hill where the Blackbrook House is located, I instantly fell in love with it. You cannot see the building from the road, it hides amongst the piece of woodland. It really feels like a hidden gem. Extremely popular and one of the most sought-after Derbyshire wedding venues, it’s all for solid reasons. Blackbrook House is full of character and their team’s attention to detail is second to none.
