Hotel Maiyango Wedding Photography

Last week I finished editing Ian and Lisa’s wedding photos. Their Leicester City Centre wedding took place at Hotel Mayiango. The great wedding ceremony at St Peter and St Paul’s Church in Syston was followed by a very relaxed celebration at Maiyango Hotel. I started my photography at Lisa’s mum’s house where she was getting ready with her bridesmaids. The weather was absolutely awful when I drove there in the morning. I must say that we were quite lucky in the end. It rained a few times on the day but only when people where inside so it didn’t affect the absolutely amazing wedding day. Hotel Mayiango and its function room is located on top floor with a terrace overlooking the town. The reception was very relaxed and informal. There were no speeches or sit down wedding breakfast. Instead the congregation could enjoy the party mingling around. After the hot buffet there was a time for cutting of the cake and the first dance. The day was absolutely fantastic with its relaxed atmosphere. Ian and Lisa are fans of a documentary wedding photography and I was glad to preserve the wedding memories for them.
