Devon Wedding

James + Laura

Back in July last year I found myself shooting a wedding in Devon for James and Laura. I first met the couple at Rich and Emily’s wedding I photographed back in the summer 2015 (You can see their Leicestershire wedding here). When James and Laura booked me for their big day, I was really excited. I knew their wedding was going to be super relaxed. Also, it was the first wedding I photographed in Devon, actually it was the first time I visited this part of the world. I found driving down the country lanes rather challenging and fun too, especially at night!

James and Laura invited me to the pre-wedding gathering on the night before. It took place at the cider factory in Crediton. Pizza straight from the firewood oven and Sandford Orchards craft ciders were a huge treat for me after nearly eight hours drive! Also, it was great to say hello, meet some guests, family and a few familiar faces I remembered from Rich and Emily’s wedding. Awesome atmosphere too! Thanks guys:)

James and Laura’s big day was truly amazing. Relaxed, filled with lots of fun, laughter and emotions. Stunning locations, relaxed vibe and great bunch of people. For sure, the one not to forget for me.
