The Old Vicarage in Southwell
The Old Vicarage Wedding
Matthew + Stephen
As a wedding photographer from Nottingham I travel across the county to photograph great weddings at many beautiful places. The Old Vicarage in Southwell is a Nottinghamshire wedding venue that ticks all the boxes for an awesome wedding. Professional approach, friendly and helpful staff, delicious food, stylish interior and plenty of space outside. Back in August it hosted the wedding of Matthew and Stephen. The boys contacted me a few months before the wedding to discuss photography requirements. They both loved my documentary wedding photography approach and soon decided that they want me to be their wedding photographer. All elements came together to create a great wedding day. Weather was fantastic and positive vibe was in the air from the morning till late evening. Mat and Stephen arrived at the venue around midday and just before all the guests. They had time to greet everyone before the ceremony had begun. After the ring exchange and signing of the registry everyone gathered in the gardens were Michelle from Icycle Tricycles served some mouth watering ice creams. I love photographing food and I am always glad that The Vicarage allows me to photograph the food service. After the wedding breakfast there were speeches followed by some spare time to mingle before the evening began. As often it is the case for me I stopped long enough after the first dance to capture some dance floor fun. If you consider The Old Vicarage for your wedding venue and you would like to hire a documentary wedding photographer, do not hesitate to contact me.
“Martin, we got the photos today and we love them! Thank you so much, they are just fantastic, we’re really pleased. We really like the mix of colour and black n white. It’s just the collection of memories we were hoping for.”
